Trévoux, at the heart of the
Saône vallee presents all the necessary services : a higher and 2 lower secondary schools (one state and
the other private school), primary schools and nursery schools (both state and private). Being the country town
of the district " chef lieu de canton ", the town is the center for the main administrative services
: justice, tax office, equipment, cadastre, hospital. Over one hundred shopkeepers and self-employed businessmen
supply the needs of the population.*. The Val Horizon Association runs
leisure centers, manages two-care centres and one day-nursery and the infancy centre. Many associations offer a large range
of cultural and sports activities (football, tennis, swimming, music, rowing,library,…)for the young, the adults
