Many activities Trévoux enjoys 2 stadiums (for football and rugby), a covered swimming pool, a tennis complex and a gymnasium. French typical spots such as "pétanque" and "boule lyonnaise" (both bowl games) can be practised on special grounds along the river Saône. Besides, a rowing activity is organised on the river.

Swimming area A swimming area composed of a recreational 1800 square meters swimming pool on a 2 hectares green park is to open by the river Saône in June 1999, in Trévoux.

Fishing/Angling Fishing is a traditionnal activity in Trévoux. It can naturally be practised in the river Saône, but also on the Chamalan lake. A more unusual and sporting fishing has been developping for a few years : big game and more precisely silurid fishing. Both adults and children will manage to find suitable activities and practise them by themselves or within one of the many cultural or sports clubs.

Walking/Rambling/Rides Both the region of the "Pays de Dombes" with its thousand lakes and the region of "Beaujolais" can be discovered mountain biking from Trévoux. There are also arrowed rambling tours and for bikkers the "GR" (official trail) runs across the town.

Watersport centre On the opposite bank of the river Saône, "Anse" town has developped a center for aquatic sports; It's possible to practise windsurfing, dinghy sailing, rowing and kayaking as well as mountain biking possibly with hiring out equipment.

Golf Ten minutes from Trévoux the "Golf du Gouverneur" offers 18 holes courses and driving ranges to golf lovers.
